Cancer Support Community (CSC) participated in the 2018 East Bay Biden Cancer Summit at John Muir Health in Concord – one of over four hundred community summits held across the United States. CSC Chief Executive Officer, James Bouquin presented as part of a panel discussion alongside representatives of fellow community organizations and cancer survivors. Each of the panelists had been deeply affected by cancer.
We were honored to be included in the discussion of not only what the future of cancer care looks like, but what we can do to best support people facing cancer today. Thank you to Congressman Mark DeSaulnier for hosting and including us in this in this great event.
