Support Groups for Cancer Patients and Caregivers

Cancer Support group 18

The first step in joining a weekly support group is to complete a Newcomers Meeting and Intake Interview that will take place via Zoom.

Please email CSC Program Associate Maricela Becerra at, to schedule an appointment.

For Those with Cancer

Ongoing professionally facilitated support groups for people with cancer and support persons are the heart of our program. Support groups have been shown to decrease distress and improve quality of life. Adult group members of different ages and with different types of cancer come together each week to get support and learn from each other.

For Caregivers

Caregivers, or support persons, meet to discuss concerns, challenges, and ways to care for themselves while supporting the people they love who have cancer.

“Drop-in” Networking Groups

You may also choose to “drop-in” at a networking support group that meets once or twice monthly or as a time-limited series. Networking groups may be specific to a type of cancer (brain, breast, colorectal, gynecologic/ovarian, lung, prostate, etc.).

See our calendar to for the networking groups currently being offered.
