Support Groups and Counseling for Cancer Patients and Caregivers

Support Groups

The first step in joining a support group is to complete a Newcomers Meeting and Intake Interview that will take place via Zoom. Please email CSC Program Manager Maricela Becerra at, to schedule an appointment.

For Those with Cancer (Mon 6-8pm, Tues 11-1pm, Wed 10:30-12:30pm)

Ongoing professionally facilitated support groups for people with cancer and support persons are the heart of our program. Support groups have been shown to decrease distress and improve quality of life. Adult group members of different ages and with different types of cancer come together each week to get support and learn from each other.

For Caregivers (Mon 6-8pm, Tues 11-1pm, Wed 10:30-12:30pm and 6-8pm)

Caregivers, or support persons, meet to discuss concerns, challenges, and ways to care for themselves while supporting the people they love who have cancer.

Grief and Bereavement Groups (Wed 6-8pm)

For those who have lost a loved one due to cancer.
