School-Aged Children and Teens

Kids Circle & Teen Talk

The Kids Circle and Teen Talk programs are for families with school-aged children who have a parent with cancer. Families attend this monthly program together, where they participate in separate activities and end with lunch and a family activity designed to enhance communication.

Elementary School: An activity-based group where children can identify feelings and learn coping skills.
Middle School and Teens: Teens spend time in a facilitated group where they can connect with their peers.
Parents: Parents attend a facilitated group where they can discuss the challenges of balancing family life and cancer treatment.

See our calendar for information on the upcoming Kids Circle & Teen Talk program, as well as other programs geared for families with school-aged children who have a parent with cancer.
