For Breast Cancer Awareness month, Walnut Creek retailer, Brighton Collectibles, is launching their “Power of Pink” program for the month of October. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Cancer Support Community.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Brighton has a history of giving back by supporting charities through selling exclusive, limited edition, breast cancer awareness bracelets and leather goods.
“Mother, sister, or friend – we all know someone who has been affected by this disease,” Brighton owner Jerry Kohl explains, “The more we all give, the sooner we’ll reach a cure.”
Cancer Support Community CEO, James Bouquin notes that, “Generous initiatives like this, not only help us get closer to a cure for tomorrow, but it will bring help and hope to those facing cancer in our community today.”
Brighton’s owners, Jerry and Terri Kohl, started their business over 40 years ago, and they resolved to have a company that would be run from the heart, focused on treating their customers and employees the way they love to be treated and giving back to the communities where Brighton Collectibles stores are located.
Join us for an in-store event at the Brighton Collectibles Walnut Creek Store (Broadway Plaza) on Saturday, October 22 at 10AM. We will have gifts for survivors and caregivers, as we celebrate the Power of Pink campaign.
