On behalf of our Board of Directors, we’re pleased to share our 2017 Annual Report for Cancer Support Community.
Our mission is to help people facing cancer to become healthier, to live longer and most of all to have the highest possible quality of life. Because of the generosity of our donors, we were able to expand this mission last year — to serve more people and to serve them more deeply than ever before.
During 2017, 1,970 people facing cancer made 22,409 visits to Cancer Support Community. This was a 5% increase in the number of people served and a 16% increase in amount of services provided from the previous year.
The infographic report describes our services and their outcomes for our members in 2017. It also provides some more detailed information about Cancer Support Community and our members. Please feel welcome to contact either of us for any other information.
On behalf of our members, we’d like to add our most heartfelt expression of gratitude. As a long-time survivor of advanced cancer said recently: “This place is my sanctuary, the people here are my family. They give me hope that I can carry the burdens and meet the challenges on this journey.”
Thank you for making all of this possible.
In gratitude,
