A cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming and navigating the healthcare system while managing treatment, emotions, family, and daily life can make it even harder. You may be experiencing common side effects of cancer treatment such as anxiety, fear of recurrence, fatigue, sleep disturbances, and/or reduced physical function. That’s why Cancer Support Community SF Bay Area (CSC SF Bay Area) offers Supportive Care Navigation: a free service designed to connect you and your loved ones with the resources, programs, and support you need, exactly when you need them.
What Is a Supportive Care Navigator?
Our Navigator is a dedicated CSC SF Bay Area staff member and meets you where you are- early in your care and throughout your journey.
Your Navigator is there to listen, assess what you and your family need, and connect you with the right resources, whether that’s a support group, counseling, nutrition, exercise, financial assistance, or practical help at home.

No two cancer journeys are the same. Our Navigator works with survivors, family members, and caregivers to address the full range of needs that come with a cancer diagnosis, including:

A quiénes servimos
Our Supportive Care Navigation services are available to patients across all cancer types, any stage, active treatment and survivorship, family members, and caregivers. All CSC SF Bay Area programs and navigation services are provided free of charge, regardless of insurance status or income level. Programs are available in English and Spanish, in-person and virtually.
